Course content
|
Lectures: 1 - Introduction to change management. 2 - Changes in management of organization. 3 - Causes and types of changes. 4 - Process of change management. 5 - Change models. 6 - Managing strategic change. 7 - Changing corporate culture. 8 - Analyses of formulation and implementation of strategic change. 9 - Risk management. 10. Crisis management - crisis situation and its development 11 - Crisis management - crisis planning and communication 12 - Innovative management - innovation environment, degrees and types of innovation. 13 - Innovative management - innovation process, innovation intermediaries. Seminars: The seminars are focused on the presentation and discussion of the topics, tasks and examples given within the seminars, which relate to individual lectures. Students also solve case studies.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide relevant, practical and applicable skills in change management and innovation and proactively engage students in processes of change in the organization. Students will learn to use tools to prepare and implement change and develop models suitable for change plans or innovations in the organization.
Students understand the principles of management of changes and innovation and their application in the development of organizations. The emphasis is put on active learning methods during the whole pedagogical process, including team work, creative problem solving and case studies.

Prerequisites

The course of Management is a prerequisite for the course of Management of Changes and Innovation.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Test, Seminar work
Credit Requirements: Presence and activity on seminars. Tests, the submission of individual project. Examination Requirements: Obtaining at least 65% out of 100% in the examination test. Written examination and then oral examination.
