Introduction to Strategic Management and Strategy. Historical Background of Strategic Management. The Strategic Planning Process. Strategic decision-making. Models of Strategic Management. Integral model of strategic management. Business Vision and Mission Statements. Core Values, Core Purpose and Visionary goals. Analysis of External Environment. PEST analysis, Model for industry analysis (Porter's five forces), Strategical maps. Analysis of Internal Environment. Portfolio analysis. Analysis of functional areas. SWOT analysis. Analysis and process of evaluation of strategy. Implementation of strategy. The basic approach to organization and motivation. System balanced scorecard. Strategic control. Definition of relevant parameters. Types of measurement. Management of Changes. Introduction to the subject. Concepts of managerial thinking. The historical evolution and cause of genesis of process management. The principles of process management (for example team work, principle 3S). Organization oriented on customers. Strategic management and its import for process management. Methodology of implementation of process management (methods of redesign of process, method 3P). Process maps and using of system ARIS. Management of changes. Team working. Management of knowledge. Value management. CRM. The contemporary praxes of successful companies. The content of this course is the state final examination in management II, strategic management and process management. Students are required to prove their mastery of basic terminology, theoretical principles and calculation operations in the field of management, process and strategic management and their application.
Students know basic terminology, theoretical principles, and method used in the field of management II, process and strategic management. Students are able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Students have to prove their complex understanding of the basic terminology and principles of management II, strategic and process management, they have to be able to respond to particular questions and to apply theoretical knowledge in practical examples.
