Learning outcomes
Students acquire a theoretical background of the international project management including the varied points of view of the recognized international standards. They get knowledge of the existing models for the multicultural team building and management and the drivers and barriers of such teams' performance. In mixed-culture groups, the students will work together to initiate, conduct and present their findings in a project relevant to the program of study. Through this process they will learn to reflect on intercultural conflicts and differences and solve them within the group. The students will then become familiar with the special requirements of intercultural project management and the dynamics of intercultural teams in both theory and practice. They will be able to transfer this knowledge to new projects and other culturally-diverse project teams.
