Learning outcomes
|
The course is a follow-up on the basic B.A. course of the History of American Literature. It focuses on American literature from the beginnings to the American Renaissance. It progresses in thematic units which open up essential issues of the canon of older American literature.
Reading, interpretation, discussion.

The prerequisite for this seminar is the completion of a basic academic course on American literature.
