Learning outcomes
|
This course focuses on contemporary British fiction, namely on writers who appeared on the scene at the very end of the twentieth century and at the beginning of the twenty-first. As contemporary literature is not often sufficiently treated theoretically, reading of primary text and response to them will make up the core of the seminar.
The course participants will get some awareness about the contemporary British fiction.

Prerequisites
|
The knowledge of English at the C1 level, knowledge of the history of British literature.

Essay, Student performance assessment
Active participation in class, an essay of 2,500 words.
