Learning outcomes
|
The seminar focuses on the analysis of key works of English literature between the High Middle Ages and the Enlightenment, supplementing the lecture "The History of English Literature I". The seminar is based on the students' own reading experience: for each class, the students read a text (or texts), which will be discussed and analysed during the seminar. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with key works of British literature, to enhance their individual reading experience, and to develop their interpretation skills.
