Course content
1. Introduction to the methods of archaeobotany. 2. - 7. Practical methods of searching and collecting archaeobotanical samples. 8. - 14. Laboratory work with archaeobotanical findings and their evaluation.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to supplement information on the problems of practical archaeobotany and to introduce the specifics of searching, research and evaluation of archaeobotanical collections. Emphasis is placed on practical laboratory demonstrations of real excavations and evaluation of the data obtained. Students will learn the basics of laboratory processing of archaeobotanical findings and practical methods of sampling and sample separation.

Interest in bioarchaeology.
