Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the course is to strengthen students´ communicative skills and competencies in the standard French language at the level of C1 according to the Common European Framework for Languages.
Students should be able to understand different discourses and lectures, different TV programs and films, longer and complicated factual texts and also contemporary prosaic texts. They should be able to explain their opinions in the form of perfectly structured exposé, they should be able to participate in different discussions and to vindicate their ideas, they should also master oral synthesis of information from different authentic audio documents. They should be also able to write an argumentative text and to choose an appropriate style of written texts including written synthesis of the information from different texts.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination, Essay, Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills
Regular attendance, regular vocabulary tests, final written and oral assignment. Possibility of exemption from the final test on presentation of a DALF diploma and under certain conditions.
