Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to strengthen students´ communicative skills and competencies in the standard Italian language at the level of C1+ according to the Common European Framework for Languages. The course is organised as practical seminars lead by Italian lecturers.
Students should be able to understand different discourses and lectures, different TV programs and films, longer and complicated factual texts and also contemporary prosaic texts. They should be able to explain their opinions in the form of perfectly structured exposé, they should be able to participate in different discussions and to vindicate their ideas, they should also master oral synthesis of information from different authentic audio documents. They should be also able to write an argumentative text and to choose an appropriate style of written texts including written synthesis of the information from different texts.

Oral examination, Written examination, Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Test

For getting credits is required the fulfilment of: 1. Regular and active attendance (15% tolerance of absences) 2. Delivery of written works according to teacher's instructions 3. Passing final test assessing the four basic competencies: a) Understanding oral text; b) Understanding written text; c) Written production about a topic; d) Oral conversation about a topic. Min. points 66%. Max. 3 attempts.
