Learning outcomes
The aim is to introduce the issues of contrastive linguistic analysis of Czech and Spanish in the field of grammar, syntax and text construction. The course develops skills in working with authentic language material and corpora, and prepares students for the application of the contrastive approach in teaching, translation and research.
The student will be able to understand the patterns in the Czech and Spanish language system (especially lexical and morphosyntactic plan, suprasentential syntax).
Prerequisites
The course assumes knowledge of the Spanish language at least at the C1 level. The advantage is the previous completion of the course Morphosyntax and Lexicology and Semantics of the Spanish Language. The basic knowledge of Czech or another Slavic language is also recomended.

Assessment methods and criteria
