Course content

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to strengthen students' communication skills and competencies in the standard Spanish language towards the level C1 according to the Common European Framework for Languages and to develop their skills towards level C1+. The course is organized in the form of practical seminars with Spanish lecturers.
Students should be able to understand different discourses and lectures, different TV programs and films, longer and complicated factual texts and also contemporary prosaic texts. They should be able to recognize stylistic nuances of Spanish texts, they should be able to explain their opinions, including professional topics and they should also master oral synthesis of information from different authentic audio documents. They should be also able to write an argumentative text and to choose an appropriate style of written texts.

Oral examination, Written examination, Essay, Student performance assessment

To successfully complete the course, the following requirements must be met, at a minimum of 70% (the numbers in parentheses indicate the share of the total score): - Final test (DELE Exam): 50%. - Moodle questionnaires: 20% - Oral presentation: 10% - Written task 10% - Class attendance and active participation (the student can have three absences): 10% Students enrolled in the URO/0SJ1 course who are on Erasmus+ must follow the course under the same requirements, with the exception of class attendance (10%), oral presentation (10%) and written tasks (10%). These percentages are automatically added to the value of the final exam (50% => 70%) and Moodle questionnaires (20% => 30%). Both requirements (Final exam + Moodle questionnaires) will be done during the exam period to pass the subject.
