Course content
Repeating and deepening of basic grammar and vocabulary in the range of lessons 1-4 of the textbook Nuovissimo Progetto italiano 2. List of grammatical themes: Combined pronouns; Particles "ci" and "ne"; Partitive article; Comparatives; Pronominal verbs; Relatives pronouns; Forms "stare" + gerund and "stare per" + infinitive; Simple past; Past compounded List of active competences: Talking about remembers; Comparing; Requiring; Formulating excuses; Expressing emotions, assessments, preferences; Providing touristic informations; Recommending; Writing a formal letter; Writing a CV; Keeping a formal discussion; Talking about historical events;Contradicting List of conversational themes: School and university; Italian geography; Tourism; Jobs; Economy and money; Italian history; History of Italian language and literature Course in LMS Moodle: https://moodle.ff.jcu.cz/course/view.php?id=191

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to improve and develop students' language competences according to the level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Students will develop their language and communicative competencies in Italian from level A2 according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (=starting students' level required during entrance examination or acquired in previous courses) towards the level B1.

Written examination, Analysis of student's language skills, Test

For getting credits is required the fulfilment of: 1. Regular and active attendance (15% tolerance of absences) 2. Delivery of written works according to teacher's instructions 3. Passing final test assessing the acquisition of grammar competences 4. Passing oral conversation about a topic. Min. points 66%. Max. 3 attempts.
