Skills training, Work activities (workshops)
  • Class attendance - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 60 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Main aim is to give practical basic teaching competences by application programming in handling with robots. Students apply programming skills for creation, construction robot from building set. They will install motors and sersors on it and create programms controlling its movement and decision process.
Graduate is expected to create program for a hand-designed robot at the technological and professional level that enable leading education of this topic at lower-secondary school.
Prerequisites
unspecified

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's work activities (technical works), Seminar work

Seminar work - group project: - to construct a robot from building set according to own design - to create a program which contorls the robot - to create a documentation (idea, design, description, created program, photo- and video documentation) - to show functional robot in action Active presence at seminars (80 %) and creative work in groups
