Course content
1. Introduction to geometry. 2. Plane figures. 3. Solid figures in 3D space. 4. A measure. A line segment length. Dimension of a space. An angle measure. 5. Regular polyhedra. 6. Stereometry. Projection of a solid figure into plane. 7. Adjacent views. Unit cubic shapes. 8. Planimetry. Plane symmetry. Geometric mappings. 9. Axial symmetry. Composition of geometric mappings, e.g. plane congruences. 10. Translation. Rotation. Glide reflection. 11. Similarity. Homothety.

Learning outcomes
Introduction to the basics of elementary geometry in its summary and in the context of mathematical curriculum.
A student will gain an overview of elementary geometry and its role in mathematics.
