1. Text and text competence, reading literacy in German at level A1 - A2 according to SERR and Profile Deutsch 2. - 3. Didactic principles of working with the text with regard to the chosen teaching goal 4. - 6. Work with a literary text in the teaching of German 7. Dramatization of the text 8. Work with a dramatic text 9. The text as a starting point for practicing listening comprehension 10. The text as a starting point for practicing speaking 11. Text as a starting point for practicing writing - especially creative writing 12. Text as a starting point for practicing reading comprehension - reading strategy 13. Text as a starting point for practicing prompt reactions in various communication situations

Learning outcomes
The Didacticization of Literary Texts discipline follows Introduction to Professional Practice III and IV and Didactics 1-3. In this semester, the text is in the center of attention as a starting point for practicing speaking skills (listening with comprehension, speaking, writing - especially creative writing and reading with comprehension. In the case of literary texts, attention is also focused on their aesthetic functions. The aim of the course is to teach students to select texts (dialogues, monologues, factual and literary) suitable for teaching at the 2nd level of elementary school and to doacticize them with regard to the chosen teaching goals.Dramatization of non-dramatic texts and work with originally dramatic texts is also an integral part of the teaching.

Prerequisites
Knowledge of German language at B2 level.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation in seminars, ongoing preparation of assigned tasks, preparation of a seminar paper. Knowledge verification takes place in the German language.
