Course content
1. - 4. Lesson 7: Relationships (types of families, types of relationships, marriage and divorce, long-distance relationships, between two cultures, nouns with prepositions, indirect speech, relative clauses, comparative clauses) 5. - 8. Lesson 8: Diet (food, way of eating, all about nutrition, regional dishes, food advertising, customer satisfaction, modal verb "sollen" in subjective utterance, word formation: nominalization, conditional sentences, admissible sentences) 9. - 13. Lesson 9: At university (from school to university, choice of university, application to university, study financing, exchange of experience, consequential sentences, verbonominal connections, word formation: negation using prefixes and suffixes for adjectives) 14. Test

Learning outcomes
Written test of all speech skills and language resources from the studied curriculum; crucial for achieving the required level according to SERR for languages is continuous preparation for teaching in the form of self-study according to the assignment of the teacher; active participation in the seminar, reading prescribed books. If the student achieves 1 language level B2 according to SERR in the entrance test to the subject Language Exercises, he / she does not have to participate in direct teaching. He can meet the prescribed requirements of the discipline in a distance form. Knowledge verification is held in German.
Learning outcomes Students are able to conduct both written and oral communication in discussed topics at this level according to SERR for languages with a rich vocabulary and a good knowledge of grammar.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test

Written test of all speech skills and language resources from the studied curriculum; key to achieving the required level according to SERR for languages is continuous preparation for teaching in the form of self-study according to the assignment of the teacher; active participation in the seminar. If the student achieves 1 language level B2 according to SERR in the entrance test to the subject Jazyková cvičení, he / she does not have to participate in direct teaching. He can meet the prescribed requirements of the discipline in a distance form. Knowledge verification is held in German.
