Course content
1. Definition of language resources and their role in foreign language teaching. Objectives of phonetics didactics in teaching at secondary schools and grammar schools 2. Development of phonemic hearing, basic competences of a teacher in the practice of German pronunciation 3. Principles of training suprasegmental phenomena, typology of exercises 4. Principles of vowel practice, interference with Czech 5. Principles of consonant training, interference with Czech 6. Typology of pronunciation exercises, causes of difficulties in practicing German pronunciation 7. - 8. Vocabulary - goals, types of vocabulary from a didactic point of view, faux amis, internationalisms 9. Presentation and semantization of vocabulary, typology of exercises 10. - 11. Interference between Czech and German and English and German in the field of vocabulary and its overcoming 12. Psycholinguistic aspects of learning vocabulary 13. Analysis of textbooks and creation of exercises

Learning outcomes
The discipline Introduction to Didactics II follows on from Introduction to Didactics I. The aim of the course is to acquire basic theoretical knowledge and acquire methodological and didactic competence for foreign language teaching in the field of language resources - pronunciation and vocabulary with regard to the target group of high school and grammar school students. Emphasis is also placed on issues related to the development of pupils' multilingualism and the teaching of German in English. Lectures and seminars are held in German.
At the end of this course, students and students are able to practice German pronunciation appropriate to the age of the pupils, to recognise, identify and sensitively correct errors in pronunciation. Furthermore, they acquire basic theoretical knowledge in the field of vocabulary didactics and acquire methodological-didactic competences for her teaching. At the end of the semester they are able to create their own pronunciation and lexical exercises for teaching German at the 2nd level of the elementary school.

Student performance assessment, Interview, Colloquium, Seminar work, Self-reflection, Interim evaluation

Active participation in seminars, continuous elaboration of assigned tasks, elaboration of seminar work. Knowledge verification is held in German.
