Course content
1. Importance of pedagogical diagnostics with regard to the educational process. 2. Bases of developmental psychology and special pedagogy for pedagogical diagnostics. 3. Methodological bases and methods of pedagogical diagnostics (ethical principles of using diagnostic methods). 4. Pupil as a structure of dispositions. 5. School maturity and its diagnostics. 6. Diagnostics of pupils with SVP. 7. Diagnostics of social relations (sociometry). 8. Climate of the school class (diagnostics, intervention). 9. Family of the pupil and his diagnostics. 10. Projective diagnostic methods. 11. Creation of PLPP and IVP in connection with pedagogical diagnostics of the pupil.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the development of pedagogical-diagnostic competencies of primary school students. It deals with issues of evaluation of the educational process in connection with its conditions, course and results and is focused on methods enabling the diagnosis of the current level of the pupil (pupils, class), estimation of possible pupil development (pedagogical prognosis) and related intervention.
The student is able to apply basic diagnostic skills in the educational process, get to know the student (behavior, interests, dispositions, knowledge and skills, relationship to the subject and learning), get to know the class (classroom situation, relationships between students, classroom climate), - apply self-diagnostics.
Prerequisites
Coherence with subjects KPEP / 8PS1, KPEP / 8PS2, KPEP / 8SP1 and KPEP / 8SP2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Active work in seminars. Own diagnostic activity (5 diagnostic materials).
