Course content
1. Introduction of course content and credit requirements. Training swimming posititon on breast - focusing on regular breathing. 2. Training swimming position on back and back stroke leg action. 3. Training crawl stroke leg action - focusing on regular breathing. 4. Training breaststroke leg action. Practising - swimming position on back and on breast. 5. Training breaststroke arm action - focusing on regular breathing. 6. Start training. Correction exercises - leg action of breastroke and backstroke, arm action focusing on regular breathing. 7. Correct technique of breastroke -focusing on regular breathing. 8. Breastroke turn training. Practising breastroke and back stroke leg action. 9. Back stroke training - focusing on arm action and back stroke turn. 10. Check practising credit requirements. 11. Fitness swimming. Practising starts and turns. 12. Practising breaststroke and back stroke. Short distances - 20-40-80-40-20. 13. Practising credit requirements.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Skills training
Learning outcomes
Teaching is focused on improving techniques of swimming styles - breaststroke, crawl stroke and back stroke including starts and turns. To improve efficiency of selected swimming style (200m distance).
Student should be able to stabilize his or her correct position on breast and on back using methodical sequences, regular breathing, legs and hands movements of swimming styles.

Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation

Active participation in the lessons 75 %.
