Course content
1. - 3. Repetition of the studied material from the subject Lexicology I. and Lexicology II. 4. Vocabulary in terms of time and place. 5. Vocabulary from a stylistic and social point of view. 6. Creation and changes of meaning - homonymy, antonymy. 7. Word, lexeme, lexical unit. 8. Lexical field. Metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche. 9. Word as a product of word formation. 10. Pragmatic aspect of word formation. 11. The meaning of a word based on context. 12. Phraseology. Etymology. 13. Lexicography and types of dictionaries. 14. Summary of issues, credit.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Activating (simulations, games, drama), Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies), Individual tutoring
Learning outcomes
Repetition of the studied material from the subject Lexicology I. and Lexicology II.
The graduates are able to take their bearings with basic Russian word stock, they can actively create and call individual forms in the system (antonyms, synonyms, paronyms, homonyms etc.) in Russian. They master as well orientation in basic dictionaries, as well as word`s analysis, which is a base for correct performance of a text.
Prerequisites
Advanced level in knowledge Russian morphology and phonetics.

Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Test, Interim evaluation

Regular participation and active work in seminars, mastering the subject matter. Deepening and broadening the orientation in the vocabulary of Rj against the background of the mother tongue. Russian morphology. Work with dictionaries.
