Course content

1. Basic concepts and characteristics of the morphological system of Russian. Word types. Verbs - grammatical categories of verbs. The strain present and the strain of the infinitive. 2. Verb forms of a certain and vague. The conjugation of verbs. First and second conjugation verbs without changing the stem consonant. 3. The alternation of stem consonants. First conjugation verbs with changes of the stem consonant - 1. part. 4. First conjugation verbs with the changes of the stem consonant - 2. part. 5. Second conjugation verbs with the changes of the stem consonant - 1. part. 6. Second conjugation verbs with the changes of the stem consonant - 2. part. 7. The conjugation of non-productive verbs - 1. part. 8. The conjugation of non-productive verbs - 2. part. 9. Verbal aspect. Forming aspectual pairs. The imperative mood and its formation. Conditionals. 10. Nouns. The grammatical category of nouns. Basic types of declension of masculine nouns - 1. part. 11. Basic types of declension of masculine nouns - 2. part. The anomalies in the declension of masculine nouns. 12. Basic types of declension of feminine nouns - 1. part. 13. Basic types of declension of feminine nouns - 2. part. The anomalies in the declension of feminine nouns. 14. Basic types of declension of neuter nouns. The anomalies in the declension of neuter nouns. Summary, repetition.

Learning outcomes
|
Mastering the theoretical underpinnings of Russian morphology in the field of verbs and nouns and mastering their practical application - all in confrontation with Czech. Learning of Russian terminology from the field of morphological system.
Orientation in the topics discussed, practical knowledge of the morphological system of Russian in the field of nouns and verbs, the acquisition of practical skills.

Prerequisites
|
The student must have a basic knowledge of Russian grammar in the range of at least A2 - according to the entrance examination.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination
Regular attendance in lectures and seminars, active participation in seminars, successfully written sub-tests during semester.
