Course content
1. Subject of syntax. General characteristics of Russian language syntax and comparison with Czech. 2. Classification of sentences from different points of view. Notification sentences. Interrogative sentences. 3. Optative sentences. Imperative sentences. 4. Affirmative and negative sentences - 1. part. 5. Negative sentences - 2. part. 6. Modality and formal means of its expression - 1. part. 7. Modality and formal means of its expression - 2. part. 8. Modality and formal means of its expression - 3. part. 9. Selected problems of predicate - infinitive sentences and phrases. 10. Selected problems of predicate - sentences with the passive voice of the verb. 11. Concord of the predicate with the subject. 12. Attribute - use of attribute in concord and attribute not in concord with a focus on the differences between Russian and Czech - 1. part. 13. Attribute - use of attribute in concord and attribute not in concord with a focus on the differences between Russian and Czech - 2.část. 14. Apposition. Summary, repetition.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Acquisition of terminology in the field of Russian language syntax. Acquisition of the theoretical foundations of the syntactic system of Russian and selected syntactic phenomena - all in confrontation with Czech.
Orientation in the topics covered, practical knowledge of the basics of the syntactic system of Russian, knowledge of selected syntactic phenomena and practical skills in their use.
Prerequisites
The student has sufficiently mastered the morphology of RJ (he successfully completed the teaching of Russian morphology in the previous 2 semesters).

Assessment methods and criteria
Test

Regular attendance in lectures and seminars, active participation in seminars, successfully written sub-tests during semester.
