Course content
Preparation of students for teaching, individual performance of students in a group and didactic analysis. Every week, students complete a practice at a selected school, a class lesson, and another class is devoted to the preparation and analysis of performance. They take turns with others in teaching. Textbooks and other study materials used at selected secondary schools could be as supporting materials used. After completing the practice, attend a seminar, where there will be an evaluation of the course and benefits of the practice for the student.

  • Preparation for classes - 6 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Passing long-term continuous pedagogical practice at a selected secondary school. Students will use and verify their theoretical knowledge in practice.
Discussion (brainstorming) on the processing of teaching materials and teaching. Feedback from teachers and other students.
Prerequisites
Students have knowledge of general didactics as well as psychology and pedagogy. Completion of didactics of biology subjects for secondary schools.

Assessment methods and criteria
Interview, Colloquium, Self-reflection

Completion of practice to the required extent consisting of own teaching in the classroom, homework, practice preparation and analysis, under the guidance of the relevant teacher at the selected secondary school. Participation in a joint seminar after the practice. Before starting the practice , the student must pay the insurance. The guarantee of the subject will provide the information.
