Course content
|
Content of seminar: Critical professional discussion (moderated by the teacher) on the topics of the master's theses is supplemented by lectures by invited top experts and discussions with them. After agreement with the presenters (students and invited experts), all participants will be assigned scientific articles for detailed reading and reflection at least a week in advance. Successful completion of the seminar is conditional on abundant and regular participation, presenting the results of independent study of literature (related to the topic of the master's thesis) and presenting the progress of solving the assigned master's thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the seminar is to develop critical reading and thinking skills. The issues addressed are mainly based on the topics of ongoing master's theses. Students will receive important feedback that they will use for their own professional work and to gain an overview across the entire field. At the same time, they will be naturally introduced to the most important principles of academic culture and ethics.
