Course content
Identification of actually growing fungi based on macroscopic and microscopic features using keys and monographs and their documentation. Identification of complicated taxa using molecular methods.

Work with text (with textbook, with book), Laboratory, Practical training
  • Class attendance - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to learn to identify actually growing fungi
Ability to work with keys and monographs and critical evaluation of characters in the identification of actually growing mushrooms. Using molecular methods in their identification.
