New knowledge on systematics of fungus-like organisms 7. Zoosporic fungi 8. Zoopagomycota, Mucoromycota 9. Ascomycota (Taphrinomycotina, Saccharomycotina) 10. Ascomycota (Pezizomycotina) 11. Basidiomycota (Pucciniomycotina, Ustilaginomycotina) 12. Basidiomycota (Agaricomycotina) Student presentations of articles related to the topics of lectures and their discussions.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to expand the knowledge acquired in the bachelor's degree course of Mycology and to complete them with new findings in the systematics and fungal biology.
Advanced knowledge on phylogeny, biology and ecology of main groups of fungi and fungus-like organisms. Critical reading of current papers dealing with the topic.

Basic knowledge on mycology corresponding to at least half- semester bachelor's course
