Course content
|
Beginning PhD students present the goals of their PhD study, discuss the methods applied at achieving those goals and design of the experiments. STudents of following years report on the yearly progress in their PhD thesis, participation at conferences and research stays, prepared, submitted and accepted publications.

Learning outcomes
|
To present overview of existing knowledge in the field of doctoral study together with the study goals, methods and proposed time schedule ( during the first study year) and to present results of own research ( in each of the following years) on a department seminar

The subject is credited to students actively participating and having own presentation on the doctoral seminar.
