Course content
|
Students will process and present selected topics and current articles in biomedicine. Individual topics will be conceived from a scientific point of view, i.e. by processing scientific articles in the form of a journal club. Invited lectures from various experts working in biomedical research will also be included.

Learning outcomes
|
The main mission of the course is to acquaint students with current topics and trends in biomedical research and development in the form of independent work on the topic and its presentation at the seminar. During the course, students will acquire skills in work with scientific literature and also presentation (work in Power Point and lecture) and writing skills (seminar thesis in form of grant application).

Students have to present a scientific article in a form of a journal club and attend at least 70% of the seminar
