Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to present, in addition to descriptive and functional human anatomy, also the ontogenetic and evolutionary aspects of the development of individual structures, which should contribute to a better understanding and subsequent explanation of the subject matter. Another objective is to familiarize students with the fundamental topics of evolutionary anthropology. The course also includes a lecture devoted to anatomical peculiarities of historical figures, as well as examples of various pathologies encountered by archaeologists, enabling possible interdisciplinary connections, for instance with history.
