1. Evolutionary approaches to human behavior, behaviorism, ethology, and sociobiology 2. Evolutionary psychology and behavioral ecology, methods for studying evolution of human behavior 3. Evolution of human sociality and cooperation 4. Evolution of human sexual behavior 5. Attractiveness and mate choice 6. Hormones and human behavior 7. Human social organization 8. Marriage and inheritance, strategies in parental investment 9. Human life history and evolutionary demography 10. Evolutionary perspectives on homicide, violence and war

The course introduces students to evolutionary approaches to human behavior, including ethology, behavioral ecology, evolutionary psychology, and behavioral endocrinology. It covers various aspects of human behavior, including, sociality, sexuality and mate choice, cooperation and conflict, violence, life history, and parental behavior.
