Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is mastering the basic instrumental techniques used in chemical as well as biological laboratories. The course also includes practicing in production of final laboratory reports of high quality.
Students master basic laboratory (mostly instrumental) techniques used in chemical and biological laboratories e.g.: - spectrophotometry - measurement of absorption spectra, construction of calibration curve, determination of the concentration of an unknown sample - potentiometry - potentiometric titration, determination of dissociation constants - conductivity measurement - dialysis - chromatography - refraktometry - liquid-liquid extraction Student are able to prepare final laboratory reports of high quality both from technical as well as graphical aspect |
Prerequisites |
Mandatory prerequisite: UCH 006 or UCH 007.
