Course content
|
Optical methods: Spectrophotometry: observation of colours in VIS spectrum, measurement of absorption spectra in VIS and UV region, calculation of molar absorption coefficient, construction of spectrophotometric calibration curve, determination of concentration of unknown samples. Refractometry. Electrochemical methods: Potentiometry - measurement and evaluation of potentiometric titration curve of diprotic acid. Conductometry - determination of conductometry cell constant, measurement of conductivity of water of different purity. Separation methods: Liquid-liquid extraction. Dialysis. Chromatography (partition chromatography).
