Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to understand the basics of biochemistry, cell biology and genetics, where students should understand the structure and functioning of cells, the structure and dynamics of the genome, the expression of genetic information, the emergence of genetic variability, the mechanisms of evolution at the molecular level and cell differentiation. Since this subject is taught in parallel with other related courses, namely Biology of the Organism, Evolutionary Biology and Phylogeny, and Ecology and Ecology and Environmental Protection, students will understand the connections of individual biological phenomena at the level of molecules, organisms, species and ecosystems.

Prerequisites
Highschool level biology

Assessment methods and criteria
unspecified
The student must get at least 50% examination test score.
