Work in the supervisor's laboratory, literature is provided by the supervisor.

Learning outcomes
|
Students work on a specific project in the frame of their bachelor thesis. Students enrol for the course UCH/656 usually in the semester in which they will defend their thesis. The course is credited if the student submits an assignment for a bachelor thesis and the supervisor is satisfied with the submitted bachelor thesis.
Students learn new and prospective biological, chemical, and biochemical methods and techniques in the laboratory and apply them both in their further studies and their bachelor's thesis.

Prerequisites
|
The student uses the knowledge gained during the studies and works in the supervisor's laboratory in her/his work. Interest in experimental laboratory work is expected.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Analysis of the qualification work
To pass the course, the student must work on the assigned topic to the supervisor's satisfaction and prepare the final report.
