Learning outcomes
|
Main goal of the course is theoretical and practical preparation for social intervention. Client therapeutic talk leading and social skills training necessary for professional worker will be taught. Burnout syndrome prevention and ethical questions will be gone over as well.
Student will learn to differentiate between social control and social aid, acquire basics of leading talks with client and try out some social techniques of counselling.

Prerequisites
|
Absolving or concurrent study of following courses: social work, or social psychology, psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Student performance assessment, Colloquium
Seminar attendance exceeding 75 %.Written essay covering 4-5 pages. To be submitted at least one week before crediting.
