Course content
The student will receive the course requirements by email by the beginning of the semester. - Introduction of course requirements - content - introduction of the independent work - project - assignment of the project presentation date - explanation of the research for the project - reason - methodology The 3 meetings are in seminars - see Stag. schedule 15.3, 27.4, 11.5.2024.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to lead students to a deeper reflection on theories and methods of social work, which is necessary to support their own professional identity. The student is motivated and guided to self-study, and research foreign literature. In this way, the student will consolidate his/her knowledge and understanding of social work theories and methods and acquire their application, including the ability to reflect and argue the appropriateness of the application. The course should help to develop the professional identity of social workers.
Student will be able to: - know the theories and methods of social work - work with foreign literature - literature research - prepare a report and transfer theoretical concepts into practice - reflect on the experience gained in practice
Prerequisites
The course does not presuppose any initial knowledge beyond the requirements of the admission procedure, i.e. it expects a bachelor's degree programme meeting the Minimum Standard of ASVSP.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment

- creation of the project and its presentation - study of basic literature, - studying study materials, - participation in seminars - 1 absence allowed - great emphasis is placed on active communication between the student and the teacher
