Course content
1.Introduction to the situation in the labour market in the Czech Republic in the context of globalization. 2.Development trends in the labour market in the Czech Republic and the European Union. 3.Labour market policy. 4.Mobility and flexibility in the labour market. 5.Disadvantaged groups in the labour market. 6.Employment of the population. 7.Globalization and educational challenges. 8.Reverse and obverse of globalization. 9.Sustainable development and the labour market. 10. Quality of life and the labour market.

Learning outcomes
The main goal of the course is to provide information for students, which are needed to understand problems of globalized labour market. The students will understand the relationship of the process of globalization and required quality of workforce, the necessity of cultivation of human capital. Course deals with functioning of the labour market and trends of development in the Czech Republic and countries of the European Union. In the subject, there will be discussed the measures of active labour policy with impact upon the quality of human resources.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to create himself/herself a relation frame for understanding mutual relations of quality of human capital and supply and demand on labour market in global economy.
