Course content
Bachelor's thesis - structure and methodology

Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to write the bachelor's thesis project and discuss its methodological part and implementation. The rules for the scope, form, and method of submission of the thesis, as well as the basic rules for writing it, are set out in Dean's Measure No. 300/2022 and the Methodological Guide for Writing Final Theses (https://wiki.tf. jcu.cz/index.php/Metodick%C3%A1_pom%C5%AFcka_pro_zpracov%C3%A1n%C3%AD_z%C3%A1v%C4%9Bre%C4%8Dn%C3%BDch_kvalifika%C4%8Dn%C3%ADch_prac%C3%AD). During unscheduled seminar hours, students consult on the project and methodology with their supervisor or thesis advisor, or with other teachers as needed by the students and as possible for the teachers. Students also conduct their own research within the scope of their bachelor's thesis. Students follow the schedule set by their supervisor and their instructions. If they do not follow the set schedule or basic instructions of their supervisor, they may be refused credit.

Prerequisites
Completion of the course Fundamentals of Sociological Research.

See - Study and Examination Regulations of the University of South Bohemia and the academic year schedule. The condition for obtaining credit is the completion of a project and the commencement of research. Students will receive credit for the Methodology of Bachelor's Thesis after fulfilling the requirements agreed individually with their thesis supervisor. Requirements for students - presentation of the project and methodology - ongoing participation in consultations according to the schedule agreed with the thesis supervisor - ongoing submission of individual parts of the thesis according to the schedule agreed with the thesis supervisor
