1. State and its concepts 2. Market and market principles 3. Civil society 4. Social services and their planning

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training
Learning outcomes
Lessons are concerned on theoretical concepts of state, market and civil society. Civil society is a primary base in what social services are realised. Students know information about community planning and are able aply their knowledges in practical life. This subject is a base for Social services and their planning 2, 3.
- students can define positive and negative functions of state, market and civil society - students can create SWOT analysis - students can describe community, define social problems in community and are able to minimalise them
Prerequisites
- students know basic principles of community work - students know methods of social work - students knot a theory of state and market - students knot basic theoretical principes of sociology
