Course content
I. Presocratics II. Sophists, Socrates, Lesser Socratic schools III. Plato IV. Aristotle V. Hellenistic schools VI. Neoplatonism VII. Patristics seminar The seminar text will be Plato's Apology of Socrates.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The aim of this subjet is to give a basic outline of the ancient Greek and Roman philosophy.
The student gets the overview of the history of the ancient, of the ways of philosophical thought and argumentation in the period.
