Course content
|
Introduction to the basic scheme of the relation of philosophy and religion, presentation of the historical roots of the philosophy of religion (R. Schaeffler). Students will be acquainted with the evolutionary phases of the philosophy of religion as well. Next topic is the typologisation of the philosophy of religion, that means the classification of structures of phenomena and conceptions, that make possible their systematical ordination. Confessional philosophy of religion will be presented as well.

Learning outcomes
|
Delimitation of the matter in connection with other philosophical disciplines. Examples of some topics of both ontotheological tradition and tradition of negative theology, as for example ontological proves, cosmological proves, theological and ethical proves of the existence of God. The examples of the philosophy of language in the context of religion, different views of the relationship between faith and reason, the problem of evil.
Student becomes acquainted with the discipline of the philosophy of religion. He/she specifics particular philosophical problems and is able to discuss about it.
