External senses 7. Intrinsic sense(s) 8. Intellection 9. Sense appetite 10. Will 12. Separate soul and its operations

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to introduce students to the Aristotelian-scholastic psychology as exemplified by the text of the early modern scholastic Jesuit Francisco Suárez.
The ability to reflect upon the basic concepts and positions in the philosophical psychology of the Aristotelian-scholastic tradition in comparison with later approaches.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of ancient and medieval philosophy. Elementary knowledge of Latin and good knowledge of English language. .
