Course content
1. E. Husserl (foundation of phenomenology) 2. M. Heidegger (the question of being) 3. E. Levinas (the Other) 4. J.-P. Sartre and M. Merleau-Ponty (corporeity and the world) 5. H.-G. Gadamer and P. Ricouer (hermeneutics) 6. L. Wittgenstein (philosophy of speech, ethics, religion) 7. Ch. Taylor and H. Joas (philosophy of religion, human rights) The texts at the seminar are chosen to correspond to the topic of the lectures.

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with the basic currents and topics of the so-called continental European philosophy, which differs from the Anglo-Saxon analytical philosophy.
