Course content
1. introductory lesson 2.-12. Film / document and subsequent management discussions. 13. Final evaluation and discussion.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic religious themes in contemporary Czech and foreign film (documentary) production. The course is intended to help students develop the discussion about the film treatment of religious issues.
Students will acquire an overview of basic religious topics selected Czech and foreign film (documentary) production. The teacher-controlled discussions will deepen its ability to formulate their own opinion on the issue being discussed (eg, religiously motivated violence, the Western view of Eastern religions, sectarian thinking, history of Christianity, etc.). In the essay demonstrates the ability of complex arguments and defend their own opinions also in writing.

Student performance assessment

(at least) 75% participation in the seminar, active participation in the seminar, essay.
