The seminary consists of sequential going through the opusculum De ente et essentia.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminary belongs to the set of medieval seminaries for master programme Philosophy. It introduces to deeper knowledge of fundamental metaphysical question in the perspective of Thomas Aquinas.
Student is thoroughly acquainted with Thomistic approach to metaphysics. He/she knows well Aquinas' writing on the relevant topic and is able to compare it with different approaches.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of Medieval philosophy and Latin (bachelor level).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Test
1. active participation on seminaries (at least 60 %)* 2. written test of basic knowledge of Aquinas' metaphysics (if participation exceeds 80 %, the test is not required) * If student does not have material, his participation is counted as 1/2.
