Course content
By content, the subject is divided into following topic units: - religious plurality in European culture and religious education (religion teaching, catechesis) - correlation theory - meditation and celebration in didactic work with religious topics - didactics of symbol - experience in religious learning process - use of "Philosophy for children" elements in religious learning process - basic elements of "Topic focused interaction in religious learning process" - basic insights into using of "role playing" method in religious learning process

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Individual preparation for exam
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to facilitate to students - get the basic insight into the contemporary issue of religious education of children, youth and adults by a form of religious teaching and catechesis - adopt the basics of practical use of the correlation theory - use special methods for opening a religious learning process in pedagogical practice (didactics of symbol, reflections of experience, meditation, celebration) - get the basic insight into contemporary didactical conceptions applicable in the religious learning process (topic focused interaction, role playing)

Prerequisites
Prerequisite for registering this subject is completing of subject Religious dimension of education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Student portfolio analysis

Students will attend five three four hours blocks where they will be introduced into basic didactic methods for religious learning process. By self-study in available didactic materials they will verify means of their application and they will make a reflection in written form. In the second step they will make simple didactical project for implementing didactical work with religious topic into selected free-time activity. They will regularly consult their work process with subject guarantee (one individual consultation per semester at least). They will defend the didactical project in final colloquium.
