Course content
the memory - definition and types The importance of memory training for elderly Projections of instructional film Memory training for elderly Specifics of elderly education Mnemonics as a basic memory tool Exercise of episodic and procedural memory Practice for fine motor skills Developing creativity Relaxation exercises and techniques

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Projection, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
  • Class attendance - 16 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Acquisition of theoretical foundations and practical skills for both the individual and the group activation of seniors (in various degrees of cognitive impairment) by methods of memory training
Acquisition of both the theoretical and the practical skills for activation of seniors by methods of memory training
Prerequisites
For this subject are not necessary prerequisite courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of creative work (musical, visual, literary)

95% participation on the lessons presentation of the own preparations of a memory training lesson
