Course content
1-3. Activating methods: didactic games. Non-traditional methods (eg discussions, creative ideas, creation of teaching aids, literary games and quizzes). 4.-6. Selected methods, techniques and procedures: brainstorming, clustering, discussion, E-U-R, expert and debate groups, INSERT, community circle, ice breakers and mind map. 7.-9. Selected methods, techniques and procedures: animated images, pair reading, five-leaf clover, self-assessment and summaries, jigsaw learning, group work, text sorting, and controlled reading. 10.-11. Selected methods, techniques and procedures: story ending, Venn Diagram, multi-level question asking, free writing, key terms and cube. 12.-13. Current challenges of literary education in leisure time (reading literacy, critical thinking, development of the ability to understand text, development of the ability to express / narrate, characteristics and description /, records from reading, work of selected authors in leisure time education).

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The course is a follow-up to the subject Methodology of literary education 1. The aim is to deepen students´ knowledge and skills in a systematic way in the sphere of literary education which could be applied in leisure-time pedagogy.
The student is knowledgable in literary education.
