Course content
Context of didactics of religious and ethical education in public schools of selected countries with regard to the situation in our country. - On the legislative level - At the social level - At the content level - On the practical level Specific religious and didactic models suitable for teaching religion - Correlation - Elementarization - Didactics of the symbol - Biblical didactics - Theological conversations - Didactics of the Sacraments - Didactics of the Temple Space

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Written action (comprehensive tests, clauses), Monitoring, Skills training, Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies), Project-based learning, Case studies
Learning outcomes
The course focuses on gaining an overview of didactics of religious education in various European countries and in the Czech Republic on specific models of didactic work in relation to their application in practice.
The students should have a basic view of the possibilities of systematic work in Religion education and Ethics for young people elder than 15. Basic principles of syllabus structure of these subjects in some of the European countries are specified and used in didactic practice. Based on the students' simultaneous presentations: - Their ability to analyze relevant curricular documents will be examined - Alternative ways of mediating different contents in different forms will be discussed and evaluated - Other students´ feedback on professionalism degree reached in the concretization of curricular programs in didactic practice will be provided.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Colloquium, Seminar work

Active participation in seminars (20% absenteeism allowed), written preparation of a seminar paper and its defence in a colloquium
