Learning outcomes
|
The course is mainly focused on the relationship between the environment and the education of the individual and the process of socialization in different stages of life (younger and older school-age, adulthood, old age). Thanks to excursions and input from experts from practice, they will gain an overview of practical tools of social education. They will learn some techniques of using documentary film in mediating socio-pedagogical topics to children and adults in teaching or leisure activities.
The students will: - Be able to use technical terminology - Know the specifics of different types of environments and population groups - Understand the causes and consequences of some socio-pathological phenomena - Understand the possibilities and tools of the educational program One World in Schools The students will learn some practical tools to improve the climate in the group.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination, Student performance assessment
1. Active participation on the excursion in facilities. 2. Active participation at the group meeting. We will discuss the topics of your essays and PowerPoint presentations, the topical movies or other materials you will be familiar with. 3. Active participation in the prevention school program (the date will be specified soon)
